Studio Ghibli and it's founders, Hiyao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, were a huge inspiration to me from a young age. Their animated movies were a huge part of why I became so interested in animation. When I discovered that Miyazaki was coming out with his last animated feature, As the Wind Rises, I wanted to give homage to my childhood icons. I used colorful characters from all their movies to spell out their studio's name.
